Hey Wade....looks like Scott and Cathy had a great visit. I guess the pajebaye are about ripe for harvest, heh? I was looking at the old video Winston made of the finca with you cleaning a palm heart for the foto op! I hadn\'t seen it in years, but it reminded me of how ingenious your old pops is. You need to make another movie walking around the property, or maybe I should come down for a tour and see it first hand and take a swim in the river again.
y\'all have no idea how excited i am to be seeing you, the farm and the country of costa rica in general in two weeks\' time! love you guys!!!
Hey Wade....great to hear that you\'re still working the old homestead. I have a few picturesfrom March \'78 with you sitting in your wagon, and your older sister & me hanging out on the outhouse jammin\'...she on the flute, and me playing the guitar. I can still remember hollowing out the pithy center and wiring them back together to run into the rife ram for irrigation. How is upkeep on the turbine for electricity. Wade, I was in Valle de General back in 1978 on an expedition funded by Safari International to study Jaguar populations. We covered all of Central America. I thought Valle de General was one of the prettiest. I would like to visit your finca next time I am down there. We bring students down each year and I would like to see the possibilities. Last year we spent some weeks at this lovely place. It was a wonderful time in the finca´s guesthouse. Now it is a pleasure to me seeing that photos and remembering that time. But where are the people on the photos? Where are the animals on the photos? It was much more than seeing here!!! All the best to you!!!
